1. Proceed with your first aid kit and ascertain where the emergency is located by checking: --

• The lab alarm indicator panel located on level two of building J03 if the Klaxon Horn is sounding.

or

• Proceed to closest designated floor evacuation First Aid assembly area if fire alarm bell is ringing continuously. These are the main Fire Stair Exits adjacent to the Lifts on floor levels Two, Five and Eight.

2. Delegate and do not undertake the role of Floor Warden or Stair Warden unless absolutely necessary, as your first aid assistance may be required in other areas.
3. Assist stair warden as necessary.
4. If required, proceed to the floor where the emergency is located and provide first aid.
5. Ensure that the appropriate emergency services have been called.
6. Notify Student Health if urgent local medical assistance is required
