Elaine Ou received the B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 2003 from the California Institute of Technology, the S.M. degree in Computer Science in 2005 from Harvard University, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University in 2010.  

In 2004, she founded Aurora Finance LLC, a financial software company


Research Experience

Elaine was a member of Caltech's Asynchronous VLSI Group and worked for Situs Logic developing asynchronous EDA tools.  At Harvard, she developed high-speed error-correcting circuits and holds a US patent for an error-correcting circuit for high-density memory.  Her Ph.D. research focused on 3-dimensional circuit architectures for nonvolatile memory.
