Kanuka Brook and Crayfish Pool in the lower Blue Mts, with optional other locations of interest in the area, for example, Red Hands Cave. Entrance via Glenbrook causeway [fee payable] and 7 klms of unsealed road. The walk is mostly on track with some scrambling around and above the falls. Excellent for swimming. Grade easy/medium, about 7 klms. Meet at Annandale 8am or Glenbrook, 9am.

Southern Escarpment-Stanwell Park station to Thirroul Station via cliffline track–Maddens Plain-Sublime Point-ladders to Bulli. Meet on train from Central or Wolli Creek, Details will follow. Grade medium hard.

Walk begins with tall wet forest along salt water estuary near mangroves and ascent to dry forest overlooking Hawkesbury. Grade medium. 13 klms. Meet at Annandale 8.15 am.

Grade medium/hard, with up to 14 klms., about 3 klm. off track, some fast sections on road. Map is CMA Appin. This wilderness area being considered for NP status.
