It is my pleasure to welcome new postgraduate students to the School of Electrical and Information Engineering. You are joining an exciting modern coursework teaching and research program which aims for the highest levels of international achievement.

The school wishes to develop an informed atmosphere for students which enables them to work comfortably and creatively. The Postgraduate Handbook complements those available from the University and Faculty with information more specific to the school.

It is aimed to provide you with the essential information needed to begin your candidature. I encourage you to read this handbook and keep it at hand for reference.
