The Computer Engineering Laboratory (CEL) is a research laboratory at the School of Electrical & Information Engineering, The University of Sydney.
It has research activities in the areas of middleware, web services, neuromorphic engineering and neural computing, robotics, and real time computing.
An important activity of the laboratory is that of sharpening its computer systems engineering skills through basic research and collaborative research and development projects aiming at producing innovative solutions to industrial problems. The funding of the
laboratory includes the Australian Research Council and industrial contracts.
CEL News
The Computer Engineering Lab has been replaced by the Computer and Software Engineering Group, comprising Software Engineering, Computing and Audio Research, Web Engineering and Image Processing.
