Examples of Altering the Vertical Gain

Here we have an input signal of 20V peak to peak. Now the Vertical gain control is set to 2V/div so as is expected the signal covers 10 divisions on the display.

Click here to change the setting to 5V/div.

Here we have an input signal of 20V peak to peak. Now the Vertical gain control is set to 5V/div so as is expected the signal covers 4 divisions on the display.
