The PRE Tag

The <PRE> tag is useful if you want to include preformatted text into your HTML document. That is, the text should be displayed with spaces and formatting just as it is typed: For example, the following HTML source:


<PRE>This    is   my    first   paragraph in HTML.

This is my second paragraph in HTML.

And this is my third HTML paragraph.</PRE>

Would display like this on the user's screen:

This    is   my    first   paragraph in HTML.

This is my second paragraph in HTML.

And this is my third HTML paragraph.
