User Interface in MS-DOS System

When switching on the PC the user will have to choose between the operating systems loaded on their PC and presented by means of a boot menu.
For example they will see and have to choose between :

• Windows 2000
• Linux operating system

Almost all PC systems from the undergraduate laboratories have a SMC ethernet card that enable them to be connected to the main undergraduate network: EELAB.
Most PCs are connected to the Samba Network and have access to the Netscape Internet Browser.

To run DOS commands

Start>>Run >> and type cmd

a dos window will open and you'll be in C:\
