Examples of Altering the Time Base

Here we have an input signal period of 40uS. Now the Time Base control is set to 5uS/div so as is expected the signal covers 10 divisions on the display.

Here we have an input signal period 40uS. Now the Vertical gain control is set to 10uS/div so as is expected the signal covers 4 divisions on the display.

Here we have an input signal with period of 40uS. Now the Time Base control is set to 0.5uS/div so as is expected the signal does not fit on the display.
