This page describes a typical enrolment
for the B.E. (Software Engineering) combined with the Bachelor of Arts. It is
up to date for 2008.
To qualify for the BE/BA combined degree, you must:
- Complete 156 credit points of Engineering core
and recommended units of study as described in the Faculty of Engineering
Resolutions.
- Complete at least 84
credit points from the Faculty of Arts.
- Satisfy any other requirements specified by the Faculty of Arts.
The rules prior to 2005 required 160 Engineering and 80 Arts credit points. Students who
entered the Faculty before 2005 may operate under either set of rules.
Many of the Science units in these tables have
advanced level equivalents. The normal units are shown here.
Note: ELEC2602 Digital System Design is shown
hers as a core unit. The rules, in fact, require only one of ELEC2602 and ELEC2302
Signals and Systems, although both can be taken.
