Sponsored by the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society, the IEEE Signal Processing Society, the Signal & Multimedia Processing Laboratory at the University of Sydney and in cooperation with the IEEE New South Wales Section, IEEE-PCM2000 is the millennium multimedia meeting on theoretical, experimental, and applied multimedia information processing. It provides a unique, centralized, high-quality forum for presentation of technological advances and research results by scientists and engineers working in Multimedia Information Processing and associated area.

In accordance with the introduction of the new conference name: "The First IEEE Pacific-Rim Conference on Multimedia (IEEE-PCM2000)", please be advised that the schedule has been reviewed. 
The new datelines are as follows:

Submission of regular papers: April 30, 2000
Submission of special session papers: May 15, 2000
Proposals for tutorials, demos: April 30, 2000
Notification of paper acceptance: June 30, 2000
Notification of proposal acceptance: June 30, 2000
Submission of camera-ready paper:  July 30, 2000 
Advanced registration, before: September 15, 2000
