Mr. Xiaoyuan Ta
Biography
Hi. I'm Xiaoyuan. I spent my childhood in Urumchi, Xinjiang Province in China. At the age of 18, I got a third prize in Chinese National Physics Competition and was admitted by Peking University without entrance examinations. After graduation, I began my first career as an assistant engineer in Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IECAS). My major responsibility in IECAS was to perform reliability tests of electronic products on their development stages. I started my Master program in The University of Sydney in March, 2005. One of my major tasks for my Master degree was to develop a network Quality of Service monitoring system for Optus Networks Pty Limited. I finished study for my Master degree in March, 2006. Now I am a PhD candidate in Electrical and Information Engineering in the University of Sydney. I am also a research assistant in National ICT Australia Ltd.
